This Pfeiffer venting valve for HiPace 80 and 300H turbo pumps with a TC 110 drive unit screws into the G 1/8" (BSPP) vent port of the pump (sealing ring included). It ensures the controlled, automatic venting of the turbo pump after shutting down or in the event of a power failure, and limits an uncontrollable pressure rise rate in excess of the permissable maximum (15 hPa/s), thus preventing possible damage to the pump's rotor and magnetic bearing.

This valve has an M8 electical connector that plugs into one of the accessory ports in the TC 110-to-controller cable (part number P103335 or P1011168, sold separately). The TC 110 drive unit controls and supplies power to the valve. The activation (control) of this valve for the venting connection is user configured and supported by Pfeiffer controllers (OmniControl 200 or DCU 110) or externally via RS485.
