These Edwards E2M80 direct drive rotary vane pumps are inherently compact and vibration free with an ultimate pressure of 7.7x10-4 Torr and a pumping speed of 53 CFM at 60 Hz. These E2M80 Edwards vacuum pump offers a finger-proof coupling housing and totally enclosed fan-cooled motors, that provides excellent operator protection. E2M40/E2M80 pumps manufactured after September 1st will be supplied with oil pre-filled to optimize the production process and reduce carbon footprint. Oil will be visible in the oil sight glass on pumps supplied with pre-filled oil. This change has no impact on product performance and eliminates the need for you or your customers to fill oil before commissioning.
E2M40/E2M80 pumps configured for PFPE oil are not affected by this change and will continue to be supplied without oil. PFPE oil must be ordered separately as usual.
