These vacuum compatible aluminum optic mounts are equipped with a flat platform for mounting prisms, beamsplitter cubes, polarizers, diffraction gratings, or any other optic or object with a flat mounting surface. The platform has a depth of 1.0" and a width of 1.925" but can hold thicker optics if they are allowed to protrude. The platform can be removed and reattached to either leg of the optic mount using a 1/16" standard hex key (Allen wrench). The platform has ten 6-32 mounting holes along the perimeter which may be used to mount the optic directly or with Ideal Vacuum's optional adjustable optic mounting arm
S101085. The adjustable optic mounting arm holds the optic in place with a soft nylon tipped set screw which can be tightened with a 5/64" standard hex key. For permanent mounting, glue may be used instead.
The mount is equipped with two 1/4"-80 fine adjustment screws which tip the optic in the x and y directions for easy alignment and beam steering. The mount has two mounting holes that fit
8-32 or M4 socket head cap screws. Each mounting hole is laterally centered on the optic mount.
