The Ideal Spectroscopy 6 ft. SHV to SHV cable provides a convenient connection between devices used in spectroscopy laboratory settings. The 2-meter SHV High-Voltage Coaxial Cable is constructed from 50 O RG-58A/U cable and features SHV (Safe High Voltage) male connectors on both ends.

SHV connectors are specifically designed for applications where high-voltage safety and insulation are critical. Their recessed center contacts and extended insulating sleeves help prevent accidental contact with energized conductors, providing improved operator protection compared with conventional high-voltage connector designs. SHV connectors support operating voltages up to 3.5 kV DC and can withstand short-duration peaks up to 5 kV.

The connector contacts are constructed from gold-plated phosphor bronze with soldered termination, while the connector bodies feature nickel-plated brass construction with crimp termination for a secure and durable connection.

This cable is compatible with Ideal Vacuum Pulsed Discharge Jets (S101215 & S101214) and is suitable for spectroscopy equipment and other instrumentation requiring a 50 O SHV high-voltage coaxial connection.
