This is a 240 VAC Edwards intake flange heater for nEXT400D and nEXT730D turbo pumps with CF 8.0 inch flange (DN 160 CF). This heater band may only be used on CF flanged pumps outfitted with either water cooling or forced air cooling. The intake flange may be baked up to 100 °C (maximum). This flange heater (bakeout band) accelerates the degassing of the pump to enable it to achieve lower pressures. It may also be used to protect the pump from condensation of contaminants. The band heater has an attached power cable terminated with a C19 power entry plug (male C19). This Edwards intake bakeout flange heater band has part number B58052776.
We recommend using the Ideal Vacuum PID plug and play heater controller (part number P107361). The heater band power cable will plug directly into it. Our P107361 controller can be operated at 100-240 VAC. The input voltage of the controller must be the same as the heater. For use with 240 volt applications you must supply your own power cord.
