These vacuum compatible aluminum optic mounts fit round optics with 1" (25.4 mm) outer diameter. The mounts leave two edges of the optic clear of support for applications where space is tight or a beam must transmit through the optic at an oblique angle. The maximum accepted optic thickness is 0.26" (6.6 mm). The optic is held in place with two 8-32 soft nylon tipped set screws which can be adjusted with a 5/64" standard hex key (Allen wrench). Very thin optics may require using longer set screws than those originally provided (0.375" length set screws are recommended to grip the thinnest of optics). The mount is equipped with two 1/4"-80 fine adjustment screws which tip the optic in the x and y directions for easy alignment and beam steering. The mount has two mounting holes that fit
8-32 or M4 socket head cap screws. Each mounting hole is laterally centered on the optic mount, but is not centered on the optic face.
