Ideal Vacuum Products is seeking a CNC Machinist to support our machine shop team in a fast-paced, collaborative
environment focused on prototyping and production. All experience levels are encouraged to apply.
Core Responsibilities and Requirements
- Prior machine shop experience (entry-level through senior considered)
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Working understanding of GD&T
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and other machines
- Optimize CNC programs for low cycle times and good tool life
- CAM software experience (MasterCAM preferred)
- Use micrometers, gauges, calipers, and dial indicators
- Perform in-process inspections
- Operate standard shop equipment (bandsaws, grinders, manual lathe, Bridgeport mill)

Preferred Qualifications
- Part inspection experience
- CMM programming and operation
- 5-axis mill programming and setup
- Mazatrol experience
- SolidWorks familiarity
- Lights-out manufacturing experience

- HAAS mills (up to 5-axis)
- Mazak live-tooling lathe
- Zeiss Contura CMM
- Matsuura 5-axis mill
- Nakamura mill-turn
