Dry Vacuum Pump Rebuild Technician (Scroll, Multi-Stage Roots, Screw) - R&D, Aerospace, & Semiconductor


Join Ideal Spectroscopy to rebuild and service modern oil-free dry vacuum pumps used in research labs, aerospace testing, and semiconductor fabs. In this full-time, on-site role you’ll perform precision teardowns and assemblies, set tight tolerances, run helium leak tests and performance checks, and document results in ERP/CMMS. You’ll primarily work on platforms from Edwards, Leybold, Ebara, Kashiyama, Agilent/Varian, Pfeiffer, and Adixen. We’re seeking detail-driven technicians with AAS/technical training (Mechatronics/Mechanical/Manufacturing Tech or similar) and 1–5 years of relevant hands-on experience (rotating equipment, instruments, or precision assembly), strong computer skills, and a disciplined approach to SOPs, 5S, and safety. If you enjoy solving mechanical problems, following torque sequences and test procedures, and producing clean, traceable work that meets OEM specs, we’d love to hear from you.




Fabrication Shop Helper (Albuquerque, NM - On Site)


Join Ideal Vacuum Products as a Fabrication Shop Helper supporting our welding and fabrication team in a fast-paced, quality-driven shop environment. In this role, you will assist with day-to-day production support including material handling, plate finishing/polishing, power and hand tool operation, saw and grinder use, and ultrasonic parts washing, while helping keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. You will follow written and verbal instructions, support throughput for the welding team, and build capability to independently operate shop equipment after on-the-job training. We are looking for a dependable, safety-first team player with strong attention to detail, comfort working with metalworking tools (sanders, grinders, saws), and a steady work ethic; welding and fabrication experience is a plus but not required. This is an on-site role in Albuquerque, New Mexico, offering $23 to $25 per hour depending on experience, plus health and life insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401(k), performance bonuses, and paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
