These Thermo Scientific Lindberg/Blue M tube furnace adapters are used to adapt a 3-inch ID tube furnace down to a 1.5-inch OD process tube. These interchangable adapter sleeves are made of Moldatherm for quick heatup and cooldown. They are designed to work with our Lindberg/Blue M 1200°C split-hinge tube furnaces having a 3-inch ID. For optimal performance in vacuum tube furnace applications, we recommend using process tubing made from stainless steel, quartz, or ceramic. These materials maintain structural integrity and resist contamination under high-temperature, low-pressure conditions. To ensure a reliable vacuum seal and protect against heat, we offer water-cooled compression fittings designed to connect securely to the ends of these tubes. These fittings withstand the intense thermal radiation emitted from the glowing hot tube, maintaining both seal integrity and equipment longevity.
