These Edwards E2M80 direct drive PFPE rotary vane pumps are inherently compact and vibration free with an ultimate pressure of 7.7x10-4 Torr and a pumping speed of 56.5 CFM at 60 Hz. These E2M80 Edwards vacuum pumps offer a finger-proof coupling housing and totally enclosed fan-cooled motors, which provide excellent operator protection. E2M40/E2M80 pumps manufactured after September 1st will be supplied with oil pre-filled to optimize the production process and reduce carbon footprint. Oil will be visible in the oil sight glass on pumps supplied with pre-filled oil. This change has no impact on product performance and eliminates the need for you or your customers to fill oil before commissioning.
E2M40/E2M80 pumps configured for PFPE oil are not affected by this change and will continue to be supplied without oil. PFPE oil must be ordered separately as usual.
