These 90 degree mitered elbow vacuum fittings feature two rotatable 13.25 inch ConFlat (CF) flanges and are designed for ultra-high vacuum (UHV) applications. ConFlat (CF) flanges use a copper gasket and precision knife-edge sealing surfaces to produce a reliable, leak-tight metal seal. These fittings are capable of achieving vacuum levels down to 1 x 10
-13 Torr (1 x 10
-11 Pa) and can be baked to temperatures up to 450 °C for vacuum system bake-out procedures.
North American ConFlat flange sizes are designated by the outside diameter of the flange and include 1-1/3 in. (Mini ConFlat), 2-3/4 in., 4-1/2 in., 6 in., 8 in., 10 in., 12 in., 13-1/4 in., 14 in., and 16-1/2 in. In Europe and Asia, ConFlat flange sizes are commonly designated by the nominal tube inside diameter in millimeters, including DN16, DN40, DN63, DN100, DN160, DN200, and DN250.
