Optical Breadboard 6 x 6 in., 1/2 in. Thick, 1/4"-20 Tapped Holes, Vacuum Compatible, Aluminum

These vacuum-compatible aluminum optical breadboards provide a compact and low-cost mounting platform for optical subassemblies used in vacuum environments. The breadboard measures 6 x 6 inches and is 0.5 inches thick.

The surface has 1/4"-20 tapped holes arranged on a standard 1-inch optical table breadboard pattern, with the first row of holes located 0.5 inches from the edge. Five counterbored holes are provided for mounting with 1/4-inch socket head cap screws. Four are inset 1 inch from each corner, with one additional hole located in the center.

These breadboards have no anodized coating, allowing them to be used inside vacuum chamber systems down to 10^-6 Torr. Ultra-high vacuum ranges may be reached with additional post-process cleaning by the user. The mounting holes are tapped through the entire thickness of the plate, eliminating the need for vented mounting hardware.

The breadboard has a specified flatness of 0.006 inches over 1 ft².
